There are 3 types of cockroaches that bug us:
Adults’ length can be from 10mm to 2 cm; they have antennas and six legs. They move along vertical and horizontal surfaces easily. Cockroaches are even can fly on short distances. They prefer untidy houses, where there are lots of unwashed dishes, a big amount of litter, dirt and etc. But even cleanliness isn’t a guarantee of not getting infested by roaches. And your house needs extermination of cockroaches.
Cockroaches can get inside through vents, gaps or cracks in the walls or shelves, plumbing or with the things we bring from the outside. just a few drops of water are enough for their survival. Roaches are active at night. They hide in the kitchen cupboards, pantries, bathrooms, loos and other dark warm places. Soon they will go to the rooms. Roaches leave brown dots as the result of their activity.
Roaches spread diseases and infections, such as: cockroach inisfection, infections, hepatitis, salmonellosis, polio (one of the most dangerous diseases for children), leprosy, tetanus, trachoma, diphtheria, dysentery, ringworm.
Cockroaches are one of the long-livers of our planet. According to scientists, they had appeared on our planet long before dinosaurs and birds! Those days, people were happy to have cockroaches in their homes because it meant that, they had food, warmth and other resources.
There are 4,500 species of cockroaches in the world, and about 45 of them inhabit our region.
Cockroaches may not use their respiratory organs for 45 minutes.
One female can produce 250-350 cockroach cubs.
